Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette

Recently I made a post about how you could get your own Too Faced Cosmetics Chocolate Bar eyeshadow palette with full sized eyeshadow primer for only $29!

I jumped on the bandwagon and picked up my own palette. I've been wanting one for a while but I didn't want to dish out the $49 for it. When I saw the chance to get if for $29, with free shipping AND a full sized eyeshadow primer, I felt as though the makeup gads had made my choice for me!!

At first glance it looks just like a candy bar. From the beautiful cardboard packaging to the actual chocolate casing, too faced hit it right on. It is suppose to smell like chocolate. Although it does have a sweet smell, it doesn't smell like the chocolate I'm use to but that doesn't bother me at all.

Here's what everything looks like:

This was such an amazing deal. With tax I only paid $30.96! The palette itself sells for $49 while the shadow insurance sells for $20. That's $69 for both items. Before tax!!! I saved more than $40! I'd definitely say SCORE on this one!

Pop Art Craze by Wet N Wild

I finally saw the teeny tiny display at my local Walgreens store! The eyeshadow palettes appeared untouched and they was just one orange and lime green polish waiting for me to purchase. I loved them so much I went back for the rest of the polishes. On my second trip the eyeshadow palettes were still there but there was one light blue polish, one white polish and two of both the dark blue and purple polish.

The eyeshadow palettes were $2.99 each and the nail polishes were on sale for $0.69 each. I think they would've been $0.99 each at regular price but don't quote me on that. I will post swatches if anyone would like to see them. Just leave a comment below.

And while you're here don't forget to subscribe since its free!!

Will you or have you purchased anything from this limited edition collection?

Being Naked

Today I decided to get naked. That is I used my Naked palette to beat my face a bit.

I tend to use my naked palette when I want to go neutral. I have the naked two palette but I have yet to use it. I might just put it in a blog sale... Maybe.

Any hoo I used black in the crease and to creat the rounded effect on my eye. In the center is sin. To blend the black out I used buck. For highlight I used a mix of naked and virgin. I used the zero pencil to line my top lash line and the corner of my bottom lash line.

Bronzed Goddess FOTD

This look is brought to you by Wet N Wild. No I'm not being sponsored and yes I purchased everything with my own money.

I was so shocked by the pigmentation in the palette! The pictures I am going to post are strictly of the eyeshadow.... Meaning no base/primer. It is hard for me to find good drug store palettes or any makeup for that matter. Wet N Wild has really gotten it right with there $5 palettes! I love the fact that I can use the makeup as a go to palette and not have to work extra hard to get the shadows to show up.

The look I was going for ended up being a little different. I originally wanted to use the green shadow and go for a more green/earth tone look. The green, although good in pigmentation shows up as a pale green on my complexion. When paired with the other colors I just didn't like the look. I did end up using every color in the palette which is something I rarely do. The most bronzed shadow of the colors was the second color in the left column. I originally used the first color as my highlight but went back at the end for some shimmer.

Without further ado here are some pics!!!
